The 2012-13 NBA schedule has officially been announced, and that includes the five-game Christmas Day slate. Once again, the headline matchup is an NBA finals rematch, as the Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the Miami Heat at 5:30 p.m. on ABC.
The last time these teams played was Game 5 of the NBA finals, when the Heat routed the Thunder to give LeBron James his first NBA championship. The Thunder will surely be looking for some measure of revenge in this game.
Here is the full Christmas Day schedule:
Noon: Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets, ESPN
3 p.m: New York Knicks at Los Angeles Lakers, ABC
5:30 p.m.: Oklahoma City Thunder at Miami Heat, ABC
8 p.m.: Houston Rockets at Chicago Bulls, ESPN
10:30 p.m.: Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Clippers, ESPN
The Lakers, who normally play in the later of the two afternoon games, will play in the earlier one this time. This means that Kobe Bryant's record of playing on Christmas for every full season of his career will continue.
