The biggest game of the opening day of the season -- which, just so we're all clear, is Oct. 30, 2012 -- features the Miami Heat welcoming the Boston Celtics back to South Florida for a rematch of the 2012 Eastern Conference finals. The Los Angeles Lakers also open at home on that Tuesday, welcoming the Dallas Mavericks to town for Steve Nash's first game in purple and gold.
The last team to get its home opener? The Denver Nuggets, who will have to wait until the second Tuesday of the 2012-13 NBA season to host a game.
Here's the full list of home openers for the 2012-13 NBA season. Home teams are listed first, and all times are Eastern. Games without indicated channels will be available on NBA League Pass.
