Presented by Jordan Brand, the latest episode of Rise Above profiles inner-city basketball in Chicago's Little Village, and the "B-Ball on the Block" program.

The Rise Above documentary series, presented by Jordan Brand, profiles amateur athletes from around the globe as they face personal, societal, and environmental challenges.

In this episode, we go to Chicago's Little Village neighborhood, the most densely populated in the city, with the least public park space and the highest percentage of children.

These factors have resulted in a street culture that is as violent as it is devoid of recreational opportunities. But Robert Castaneda and his "B-Ball on the Block" program are attempting to shift that imbalance.

By closing streets, rolling in hoops, and painting lines on the pavement for well-managed community basketball games, they are providing a safe environment for children of all ages to play and thrive.

This is how they Rise Above.
