Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili have been a part of the core for a very solid San Antonio Spurs team for the better part of this decade, but the two will line up on opposite sides Tuesday when Parker and Team France face Ginobili's Argentine team at the 2012 London Olympics. It'll be the first time the two teammates face each other in international competition, but the wily Ginobili has a trick up his sleeve.
Manu Ginobili says he's been giving his Argentine teammates a few tips about how to play Tony Parker.
"Go right up to him," Ginobili said, "and go 'whooo!'"
Ginobili blew air out of his mouth.
"That should fog up his goggles," he said.
Ginobili might not need to get that crafty considering Argentina -- which also includes Luis Scola, Carlos Delfino, Andres Nocioni and recent Knicks' signee Pablo Prigioni -- walloped Lithuania by 23 on Sunday, whereas Parker and team France took a 27-point loss at the hands of Team USA. But it's fun to read about two longtime NBA teammates having a bit of fun with each other in the media.
