The Orlando Magic have re-signed point guard Jameer Nelson, according to a report.
Orlando Magic point guard Jameer Nelson decided last week to opt out of his current contract, making him an unrestricted free agent free to sign where he wanted. There was some speculation that Nelson and the Magic would eventually agree to a new deal, and that's exactly what has happened, according to a report by Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.

The details have yet to be reported, but Nelson will return for his ninth NBA season with the Orlando Magic, the team he's spent his entire career with. Nelson's numbers have been down the past few seasons from his All-Star year in 2008-2009, but he has been a staple in Orlando's offense for quite a while and was a piece that new general manager Rob Hennigan feels the team needs to hold on to.
