Newcomers James Harden and Blake Griffin join five members of the 2008 Olympic team and five members of the 2010 World Championship team on the USA Basketball team for the 2012 London Olympics.
USA Basketball has announced the roster for the 2012 London Olympics, with James Harden and Andre Iguodala grabbing the final spots on the roster. Blake Griffin and Kevin Love were on the fringes of the Olympic team a few months ago, but became virtual locks as a slew of American big men withdrew due to injuries after the NBA season concluded.
Love and Iguodala were members of the 2010 World Championship team, and they're joined on the Olympic team by three of their teammates from that squad, Tyson Chandler, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony are the players who remain on this year's team from the squad that won the gold medal at the 2008 Olympics. Here's the complete roster.
