Brandon Jennings is hoping to sign an extension with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Brandon Jennings is eligible for a contract extension for the first time in his career, and he'd like to get one signed before the start of the season on Nov. 2, when the Bucks will take on the Boston Celtics.

Jennings' agent Bill Duffy and the Milwaukee Bucks have until Oct. 31 to work out a deal.

Said the fourth-year veteran: "It would be something I'd love to get done with and over with so I don't have to worry about it. ... But the main thing is just to come into training camp a better player, a better leader."

Jennings is hoping to take the Bucks to the playoffs for the first time in three seasons. And with all the personnel moves made this offseason, he knows that the road to the postseason will not be an easy one.
