Hamady N'Diaye has signed a non-guaranteed training camp deal with the Sacramento Kings, reports Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski. Originally drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 2010 NBA Draft, N'Diaye has spent most of the last two seasons in developmental leagues, occasionally playing for the Washington Wizards.
The 7-foot, 235-pound center was born in Senegal and grew up playing soccer, not stepping on to the hardwood until high school. He played college ball for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. His NCAA career included 358 blocks, including 145 in the 2009-2010 season, both school records. The 2009-2010 season also saw N'diaye win the Big East Defensive Player of the Year award.
