NBA 3 on 3 Tournament Results: The Upsets Continue as Celtics Fall

Last week in the second round of SB Nation's NBA 3 on 3 Tournament there were upsets galore. The Conference semi-final round kicked off today, and sure enough, it began with another upset.

In the first East semi-final, the Boston Celtics squared off against the East Leftovers, a team made up of players left off their own teams. Our panel of experts made Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett a 67 percent favorite to win any given game against the Leftovers, Brandon Jennings, Gerald Wallace and Roy Hibbert. But the Leftovers, a team that wasn't even supposed to be here, instead became the first team to advance to the conference finals, sweeping the Celtics with dice rolls of 89 and 79. There have now been upsets in six of the last nine series of this tournament, as the dice seem determined to keep things interesting.

The East Leftovers will now face the winner of Wednesday's meeting between the Miami Heat and the Detroit Pistons.
