NBA 3 on 3 Tournament Results -- Heat Move On

The Eastern Conference Finals in SB Nation's NBA 3 on 3 Tournament is now set and it will feature the East Leftovers against the Miami Heat after the Heat easily defeated the Detroit Pistons Wednesday.

The Heat, with Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh, were clearly one of the favorites, if not the favorite, coming into this tournament. But still it figured that they'd get tested in the East by the likes of the Pacers or the Bulls or the Celtics. Instead, those teams were upset before they could reach the conference semis, meaning the Heat instead faced a Pistons team with Rodney Stuckey, Jonas Jerebko and Greg Monroe. Not exactly Rondo, Pierce and Garnett, you know? Our panel of experts gave the Heat a 96 percent chance to win any given game, meaning that Detroit needed a couple of huge rolls -- it didn't happen. Rolls of 22 and 4 meant this one wasn't even close and the Heat, like the dice, keep on rolling.
