Carmelo Anthony will start at power forward for the Knicks Sunday.
With the New York Knicks losing three straight games, coach Mike Woodson has shaken up the lineup heading into Sunday's game at noon against the New Orleans Hornets.
Alan Hahn of MSG Network reports that Woodson will move Carmelo Anthony to the power forward spot and that James White and rookie forward Chris Copeland will also start on Sunday. Marcus Camby, who had been starting, will miss 2-4 weeks with an injury. Kurt Thomas started for the Knicks in place of Camby in the team's loss to the Chicago Bulls on Friday.
Anthony has played some power forward this season, and done so at a high level because his speed and ball-handling make him a tough cover for most of the league's fours. Zach Lowe of Grantland did an in-depth look at Anthony's production while playing that spot.
Lowe noted that with Anthony at power forward last season, the Knicks scored 110.6 points per 100 possessions and allowed 104.6 per 100 possessions.
