Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng left the game against Boston on Friday with an apparent hamstring injury.

Chicago Bulls small forward Luol Deng left the game Friday against the Boston Celtics with an injury with 1:55 remaining in the third quarter. The Bulls confirmed that Deng strained his hamstring and his return to the game, which is now in the fourth quarter, is questionable.

Deng started limping awkwardly on a fast break, causing him to miss a layup. Deng had struggled prior to leaving the game, scoring just three points on 1 for 6 shooting. He had four assists and three turnovers in nearly 27 minutes of action. He was replaced in the lineup by Jimmy Butler, who scored five points, grabbed two rebounds and made both of the shots he has attempted.

Deng came into the game with an injured hamstring. He was a game-time decision after playing nearly 48 minutes with the injury in a game against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. The Bulls led by five points when Deng left the game. They currently lead Boston by four with less than eight minutes remaining.
