Granger has yet to play in a game for the Pacers this season after a sore knee at the beginning of the season led to treatment that put him on the shelf for three months. It appears everything is going according to schedule, as Granger has started increasing his workout activity with the team still targeting a return in early February.
According to reports, Granger took part in non-contact drills with the Pacers this week which included going through 5-on-0 drills.
The Pacers have fared quite well in Granger's absence, currently 25-16 and in third place in the Eastern Conference thanks to a league-leading defense that gives up just 90 points per game. As good as the defense has been, the Pacers offense is among the worst in the league. Adding their leading scorer from last season will certainly give the team a boost at the offensive end, giving them another scoring threat to go along with David West and Paul George.
