The Memphis Grizzlies visit the Bulls, the most intriguing game on an eight-game Saturday night.
The Chicago Bulls don't get even a tiny break after their thrilling, overtime win against the Boston Celtics Friday night, as they travel from Boston back to Chicago and host the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizz are fresh off holding the Sacramento Kings to 69 points Friday night.
The Bulls and Grizzlies are among the two stingiest defenses in the league. The match-up to watch will be Joakim Noah vs. Marc Gasol, two big men who play great D and pass well. The offenses will both run through the high post for stretches, which is always a recipe for aesthetically pleasing basketball.
Another game Saturday night that looks like it will be surprisingly entertaining is the Wizards visiting the Los Angeles Clippers. The Wizards got a big win Friday night against the Denver Nuggets, and have won four of their past five games. The tandem of John Wall and Bradley Beal in the backcourt has worked as well as Wizards fans could have hoped, and Wall seems to have most, if not all, of his explosive athleticism back. Although the Wizards probably won't win, the game should be very fun to watch.
Saturday's games:
Kings at Bobcats, 7 p.m.
Rockets at Timberwolves, 8 p.m.
Grizzlies at Bulls, 8 p.m.
Bucks at Trail Blazers, 10 p.m.
Wizards at Clippers, 10:30 p.m.
