Kobe Bryant came one rebound shy of a triple-double as the Lakers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 105-96.

Kobe Bryant finished one rebound shy of a triple-double as the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 105-96. The win is the Lakers second straight and perhaps their most impressive of the season to date. Six different players finished in double figures for the Lakers and no one attempted more than 14 shots in the game. Bryant put the game away late with both his shooting and his passing.

Bryant finished with a team-high 21 points, going 8-12 from the field. He added 14 assists and nine rebounds to his totals. Bryant either scored or assisted on the Lakers' final seven field goals of the game. Steve Nash added 17 points and five assists while Pau Gasol chipped in 16 off the bench. Metta World Peace finished with a double-double, 15 points and 10 rebounds, while also making things tough on the defensive end for Kevin Durant.

Durant single-handedly kept the Thunder in the game, finishing with a game-high 35 points. Durant was just 10-26 from the field but went 13-14 from the free throw line. As a team, the Thunder went 20-26 from the charity stripe and that was a big reason they were able to hang around. Russell Westbrook also came within a rebound of a triple-double finishing with 17 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds. Westbrook went just 6-22 from the field.
