Kobe Bryant says he could be the best point guard in the NBA

Stephen Dunn

Kobe Bryant has spent the past three Lakers wins as a passer, and with the whole world in shock at this development, Kobe says we shouldn't be surprised.

On Tuesday night after the Lakers third straight win and Kobe Bryant's third straight game with 10 assists, Kobe was asked if he's enjoying his role as more of a passer than a shooter. "Yeah, because you're seeing everybody else gain confidence from it," he tells us. "First and foremost, that's really what I enjoy." For most players that's where the interview would end.

But Kobe adds: "Secondly, because most of you guys thought I couldn't do it."

"I can do it, man. I'm like Neo out this motherf***er."

The black Michael Myers is an American treasure.

When another reporter asks how good a point guard he could've been, Kobe says, "What you think I'm gonna sit here and say I wasn't going be the best?" Then, serious: "When I focus in on something, I become obsessed about it. I want to be perfect at it. That's just my personality." You know, he's Neo out this motherf***er.
