Glen Davis left the Knicks-Magic game early Wednesday night with a broken left foot.

Orlando Magic power forward Glen Davis has a broken foot, head coach Jacque Vaughn told Orlando Sentinel reporter Josh Robbins and the media after their game against the Knicks Wednesday night. There is no timetable for a return, said John Denton of the Magic.

Davis, aka "Big Baby," started the game well, hitting a shot and dropping a few assists. But he left the game after injuring the foot on a fast break early in the first quarter. It was reported that he would miss the rest of the game with an undisclosed foot injury.

This is a most unfortunate turn of events for Davis, the Magic and their fans. He had been on pace for his best season yet, only to be initially sidelined with a shoulder injury in December. And now he's out for an indefinite period of time with this foot injury. The Magic will likely look to give more minutes to young big men Gustavo Ayon and Andrew Nicholson, as well as Josh McRoberts.
