NBA midseason grades 2013: Knicks, Heat earn top marks in Eastern Conference

Which teams are among the Eastern Conference's most pleasant surprises through the first half of the NBA season? Who are the biggest disappointments? SB Nation's Ben Golliver checks in with his midseason grades.

We're past the halfway point of the 2012-2013 NBA season, and the All Star Game is just around the corner. Ben Golliver of SB Nation and SI.com hands out midseason grades to four teams deserving of the highest and lowest marks -- the New York Knicks and Miami Heat at the top, and the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards at the low end of the grading curve.
