Jamal Crawford will miss Friday's game versus the Los Angeles Lakers.

Jamal Crawford will not play for the Clippers when they host the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday due to a sore left foot, according to Arash Markazi of ESPNLA.

Crawford is averaging 16.5 points and 2.6 assists on 42.2 percent shooting from the field this season. He is the team's second leading scorer behind Blake Griffin who is averaging 17.4 points per game.

Crawford recorded 24 points and five assists in the Clippers' last game versus the Golden State Warriors on Jan. 2.

The Clippers have lost back-to-back games after winning the previous 17 in a row. At 25-8, the Clippers are 2.5 games ahead of the Warriors for first place in the Pacific Division. The Lakers are 15-16 this season which places them nine games behind the Clippers for the division lead.

Crawford had 21 points and was 9-of-9 from the free throw line in the Clippers' 105-95 win over the Lakers on Nov. 2.
