The Miami Heat host the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on TNT, and there couldn't be a better way to start the season. Since LeBron James and Chris Bosh joined Dwyane Wade in Miami, the battles between these two teams have been fierce. There's bad blood and a legitimate rivalry here.
"We don't like them, they don't like us," James said after practice on Monday, via the Sun Suntinel's Shandel Rich.
As we get ready for 2013-2014 to tip off, let's look back at some of the most memorable Bulls/Heat moments since The Decision.
May 15, 2011: Game 1, Eastern Conference finals. The Bulls emphatically take a 1-0 lead in the series with a 103-82 win. Having swept the Heat in the regular season series, their confidence could not be higher. The defining play? Taj Gibson's nasty, nasty dunk on Wade:
Same game, James blocks Rose as only James can. He also keeps Rose in check late in the game en route to a 101-93 overtime win. "It's extremely hard when a guy 6'8 can easily defend you," Rose says after finishing with 23 points on 27 shots and seven turnovers.
May 26, 2011: Game 5, Eastern Conference finals. Miami wins the series 4-1, but Joakim Noah wins the internet by calling the Heat "Hollywood as hell." Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley giggle along with the rest of us.
Jan. 29, 2012: James scores 35, Rose scores 34 and misses two clutch free throws at the end, then blames himself for the 97-93 loss. Wade says it was "like the playoffs in January." This isn't what we'll remember, though. We'll remember James jumping over a human being for an alley-oop dunk. Sorry, John Lucas III.
March 24, 2012: The John Lucas Bulls Explosion! With Rose hobbled, Lucas gets his revenge on the Heat by erupting for 24 points on 9-for-12 shooting and leading Chicago to a 106-102 win . Many of his clutch baskets come with James guarding him.
In the same game, Noah blocks a Wade layup, then dunks all over Joel Anthony in perfect Noah fashion. The Chicago crowd loses its mind, Rose screams from the sideline in a suit.
March 27, 2013: Chicago snaps Miami's 27-game winning streak. The biggest play was Jimmy Butler's alley-oop finish over Bosh. Just vicious.
As James walks off the court with the streak over, a Bulls fan tries to take his headband.
May 6, 2013: Game 1, Eastern Conference semifinals. Continuing the tradition of diminutive Bulls point guards torching the Heat, Nate Robinson comes up huge. After colliding with James in the first half, spitting blood on the floor and receiving 10 stitches in his lower lip, he finishes with 27 points and nine assists on 8-for-10 shooting. Bulls take a 1-0 lead in the series like they did in 2011, winning 93-86.
May 8, 2013: Game 2, Eastern Conference semifinals. Filomena Tobias, a Heat fan who is infamous for numerous reasons in Miami, flips off Joakim Noah after he gets ejected. The Heat crush the Bulls 115-78.

May 10, 2013: Game 3, Eastern Conference semifinals. Nazr Mohammed tries to tackle James, who takes exception to it. Then Mohammed shoves James to the floor, earns an ejection and Bulls fans call James a flopper.
In that same game, Noah makes internet history once again. As if Mario Chalmers being yelled at for the 1000th time wasn't enough, Noah claps and screams at Bosh as it's happening. The Heat get the last laugh, though, winning 104-94 on their way to another 4-1 series victory.
