The Chicago Bulls will be without center Joakim Noah on Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a bruised right thigh, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune. Per Johnson, Noah suffered the injury on Saturday night against the Detroit Pistons. He practiced Monday and participated in shootaround Tuesday morning before being ruled out.
Noah is averaging 9.4 points and 8.8 rebounds this year, both the lowest per-game averages for him since the 2008-09 season.
Chicago (8-10) has lost three of its last four games, and seven of its last nine. The Bulls are currently third in the Central Division. They are a half-game back of the Pistons, who are the current No. 8 team in the Eastern Conference.
The Bucks, not the most formidable of foes, are just 4-16 through their first 20 games. They have the second-worst offense and the fifth-worst defense in the NBA, according to Basketball Reference.
