Whoa.
If you weren't quite sure about the Phoenix Suns, maybe now's the time to think twice. Jeff Hornacek's team went into Los Angeles on Monday night and laid the wood to the Clippers, 107-88, at Staples Center.
And this wasn't ever close. Goran Dragic went for 26 points and eight assists, and Gerald Green chipped in 21 off the bench. It was an absolutely dominant performance as Phoenix held Los Angeles to 36 percent shooting while putting up a 48 percent clip of its own.
On the other side of the court, the Clips looked stunned. Chris Paul managed just 11 points and seven assists and Blake Griffin scored just 15 and grabbed five boards. Aside from the 19 rebounds from DeAndre Jordan, Los Angeles was awful all the way around.
The Suns had 17 steals, and stretched the lead out to 29 points at one time, which was their largest of the season so far.
