Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger could return to action this week after missing the first 52 games of the year.
Danny Granger was going through fullcourt practices with the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, and he could return to game action as soon as this Wednesday when Frank Vogel's team faces the Charlotte Bobcats, according to the Indianapolis Star's Mike Wells.

Yet to play this year after recovering from a left knee injury, Granger returned to non-contact activities almost a month ago. The leading scorer for the Pacers the last five seasons, the forward averaged 18.7 points per game last season and only played in two preseason contests this year.
Granger's absence has seen little drop-off in Indiana's success. The Pacers are in third place in the Eastern Conference and a half game in front of the Chicago Bulls, who themselves are without leading scorer Derrick Rose. In place of Granger, Paul George and George Hill have each increased their scoring averages by five points compared to last season, while third-year pro Lance Stephenson has increased his scoring by nearly six points in a new starting role.
The Pacers are in the midst of a five-game homestand and play the Brooklyn Nets Monday before a game against the Bobcats on Wednesday. If Granger does indeed return then, he will have missed 52 total games.
