Brandon Jennings now says he doesn't want out of Milwaukee

USA TODAY Sports

The Bucks' guard is denying that he ever wanted take his talents elsewhere.

Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings disputed reports that he and the team had come to "irreconcilable differences" and reiterated that he does not want out of Milwaukee. Jennings told ESPN.com that his relationship with the Bucks remained strong, and was not "beyond repair."

That is not true. Just because I got a new agent doesn't mean anything. That stuff never came out of my mouth. They're just reaching for a story since I changed my agent.

Milwaukee offered Jennings a four-year, $40 million contract earlier in the year, but the 23-year-old turned it down. He stands to become a free agent at season's end.

Not only is Jennings not frustrated, but he's looking forward to helping his team make a run in the playoffs this year. He's averaging team highs in both points and assists with 18.5 and 6.1, and is the main cog behind the Bucks' first-half success.

The earlier report from ESPN cited that Jennngs and the team had grown tired of one another, with the 23-year-old also being upset that he didn't make the All-Star team to represent the Eastern Conference.

"Being in Milwaukee wasn't the reason I didn't make the All-Star Game," Jennings said. "Guys just had better numbers than me," he added.
