NBA Skills Challenge 2013: Damian Lillard beats Jrue Holiday in final

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Portland Trailblazers rookie Damian Lillard took home the Taco Bell Skills Challenge title, taking down 76ers guard Jrue Holiday in the championship round.

All-Star Saturday Night continued with the second of its undercard events, with San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker looking to repeat as the Taco Bell Skills Challenge champion. Dwyane Wade's Eastern Conference squad started the contest and sputtered out of the gate, as Jeff Teague struggled to get through any obstacle without trouble, even missing the final lay-up, finishing with a final time of 49.4 seconds.

Detroit Pistons second-year guard Brandon Knight helped make up for Teague's slow time, clocking in at 32.2 seconds. Knight made way for Philadelphia 76ers' Jrue Holiday, who blazed through the course, finishing with a time of 29.3.

Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin was first for Chris Paul's Western Conference team. Lin moved well through the dribbling and passing drills but got stuck shooting from the top of the key, finishing with a so-so time of 35.8 seconds. Portland Trailblazers guard and leading Rookie of the Year candidate Damian Lillard looked like a man on the mission, getting through the course with a first round high score of 28.8 seconds. Tony Parker came up next and looked to be on his way to the championship round before he missed all five of his shots from the top of the key. Despite that, Parker still finished with a time of 48.7 seconds, almost one full second ahead of Teague.

Lillard and Holiday squared off in the final round. Holiday started off the round, finishing with a time of 35.8, which paved the way for Lillard, who burned through the course once again, finishing with a time of 29.8 seconds.
