In part of a deal involving J.J. Redick, the Milwaukee Bucks sent point guard Beno Udrih to the Orlando Magic along with Tobias Harris and Doron Lamb
The Milwaukee Bucks sent point guard Beno Udrih, rookie Doron Lamb and second-year forward Tobias Harris to the Orlando Magic in part of a three-way trade involving J.J. Redick on Thursday, according to Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski. The Bucks will also receive forward Gustavo Ayon and guard Ish Smith.
The move was held up as the Bucks worked close to the deadline to acquire the Atlanta Hawks' Josh Smith. Udrih could have been part of that deal had Milwaukee and Atlanta come to terms, and he was also rumored to be of interest to the Dallas Mavericks.
Udrih offers a couple of attractive commodities for the Magic. Making $7.3 million this season in the final year of his deal, he's a large expiring contract and he's still a competent point guard adept at running a half-court offense off the bench, a skill that Orlando could use.
Udrih has put up averages of 6.7 points and 3.5 assists per game this season. Harris had fallen out of the rotation in his second season out of Tennessee, and Lamb had played in 23 games in his rookie season out of Kentucky.
