Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Anthony Morrow has been traded to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Dahntay Jones, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.
Making waves as an undrafted pickup by the Golden State Warriors in the 2008-09 season, Morrow averaged 10.1 points as a rookie. He shot better than 42 percent from three-point range both seasons with the Warriors and his first with the New Jersey Nets. His most productive year came in 2010-11, when he averaged 13.2 points and three rebounds in 32 minutes per game.
Morrow averaged 5.2 points this year, his first with Atlanta, but fell out of the Hawks' rotation early on. Despite the season-ending injury to Hawks guard Lou Williams, injuries and the emergence of rookie John Jenkins limited Morrow's playing time.
Jones has played in just 15 games for Dallas after being acquired from the Pacers in the offseason along with Darren Collison.
