Warriors vs. Grizzlies final score: Memphis ends two-game losing streak with 99-93 win

The Grizzlies used a strong defensive second half to beat Golden State Friday.

The Memphis Grizzlies (31-18) held on for a 99-93 win in a slugfest with the Golden State Warriors (30-20) in a game that saw the teams combine for just 73 second half points Friday.

Marc Gasol led five Grizzlies in double figures with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Zach Randolph had 16 points and 12 rebounds. Tony Allen scored 17 points. Jerryd Bayless scored 14 points off the bench and Austin Daye, who the Grizzlies acquired from the Detroit Pistons in the Rudy Gay trade in January, scored 12 points, his best game since joining Memphis.

The Warriors shot 48 percent for the game, but just two players reached double figures. Stephen Curry had 32 points, eight assists and three steals and David Lee scored 26 points. The Warriors had just 13 points combined from their bench while the Memphis bench provided 33 points.
