LeBron James struggled shooting the ball, but he hit a three-pointer with 24 seconds remaining Friday to help seal a 98-91 win over the Memphis Grizzlies (38-19) for the Miami Heat (42-14). It was Miami's 13th straight win and snapped the Grizzlies' eight-game winning streak.
Memphis trailed by one at halftime and by one entering the fourth quarter. They cut Miami's lead to one on a layup by Marc Gasol with less than a minute remaining before James' three. Gasol finished with 24 points and nine rebounds. Zach Randolph had 14 points, Mike Conley scored 12 and Quincy Pondexter had 12.
