The anti-climactic battle for the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference is among Saturday's important NBA matchups.
The Milwaukee Bucks host the Toronto Raptors at 8:30 p.m. ET Saturday as the Raptors try to tighten up the race for the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Also, the Chicago Bulls host the Brooklyn Nets with a chance to move from sixth to fifth in the East standings at 8 p.m. ET.
The Bucks currently lead the Raptors by 6.5 games in the standings. The Raptors are 6-4 in their last 10 games while the Bucks are 3-7. The teams have played just once this season, a 107-96 Bucks win in Toronto on Jan. 13. Both teams have a different makeup since then, however, as the Raptors acquired forward Rudy Gay from the Memphis Grizzlies in a trade, and the Bucks picked up J.J. Redick from the Orlando Magic in a trade at the NBA trade deadline.
The Bulls trail the Nets and Atlanta Hawks by a half game in the East standings. They could inch closer to the No. 4 seed and homecourt advantage in the first round with a win. Here's the full lineup of Saturday's games:
