James Harden set to renew acquaintances with former teammates.

Last season, James Harden was part of an Oklahoma City team that came within two games of winning an NBA championship. This season, he'll try to lead his new team, the Houston Rockets, to an upset of the Thunder in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The teams play Game 1 at 9:30 p.m. ET Sunday on TNT.

Harden, who was the NBA Sixth Man of the Year last season with the Thunder, has blossomed into one of the league's top players in a larger role with the Rockets. He was fifth in the league in scoring this season at 25.9 points per game, between former teammates Kevin Durant (second in the league at 28.1 points per game) and Russell Westbrook (sixth in the league at 23.2 points per game).

Harden averaged 29.3 points per game in three games against the Thunder this season. The Thunder won two of those three games. Their wins were by an average margin of 26.0 points per game.
