NBA playoff schedule 2013: Knicks-Celtics, Warriors-Nuggets highlight Tuesday slate

Debby Wong-USA TODAY Sports

The Nuggets, Knicks and Heat all look to get one game closer to the next round on Tuesday night.

The NBA playoffs roll on Tuesday evening with a slate that sees three more first round series move on to Game 2. The Miami Heat, New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets will all go for second victories after opening their respective series strong over the weekend.

The Heat and Bucks start off the action Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBATV as Milwaukee looks to put any sort of pressure on the defending NBA champions after a lopsided Game 1. Miami had little trouble in the opening game of the series, a 110-87 win.

Action then moves to TNT as the Knicks and Celtics continue their series from Madison Square Garden. Boston often looked out of sorts in a 85-78 Game 1 loss to New York -- particularly on the offensive end -- so expect the team to come out more aggressive on Tuesday.

In the first game of the series, key Boston reserves -- Jason Terry, Jordan Crawford and Courtney Lee -- shot a combined 0-for-7 from the field and contributed just four points. That put undue pressure on the likes of Paul Pierce and Jeff Green to create offense, something that simply wouldn't work over a full 48 minutes.

The final game of the night sees the Golden State Warriors look to bounce back from a disappointing Game 1 loss against the Denver Nuggets. Without star forward David Lee, who is done for the year with a hip injury, the Warriors will have a tough time coming back from down 1-0. However, the shooting of Stephen Curry could keep things interesting.

Curry was shaky early in his first career postseason game, but still finished with 19 points after finding his rhythm in the second half. If he can make more shots like the three-pointer that nearly forced overtime in Game 1, the Nuggets may not necessarily have an easy time dispatching Golden State.

Here's the schedule for Tuesday including all of the TV information:

Match-Up Time (ET) Local TV
Bucks at Heat 7:30 p.m. NBATV
Celtics at Knicks
8 p.m. TNT
Warriors at Nuggets 10:30 p.m. TNT
