Mavericks vs. Nuggets final score: Andre Iguodala hits game-winner over Mavs, 95-94

The Denver Nuggets suffered a key injury Thursday night, but Andre Iguodala delivered a game-winning layup that may have slammed the door on Dallas' playoff hopes.

Andre Iguodala drove in and hit the game-winning layup for the Denver Nuggets as they defeated the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, 95-94. Denver had the ball down one with just over seven seconds left in the game, and Iguodala finished the job.

The Nuggets find themselves in a tough situation, even with the victory. Ty Lawson is scheduled to miss time with a plantar fascia tear, which has already put Denver against the ropes, but their season took another hit in the second quarter.

Danilo Gallinari tweaked his knee while driving into the paint and suffered a non-contact injury. Gallinari immediately looked to be in excruciating pain, and the Nuggets have announced that he will undergo an MRI on Friday.

Kenneth Faried had a monster game on the glass, yanking 19 rebounds down to go with his 12 points. Andre Miller added 22 points, and Corey Brewer had a game-high 23 points on 7-for-17 shooting.

Dallas scored by committee, with six players in double figures. Brandan Wright had a team-high 16 points, while Dirk Nowitzki scored 13 points.

Both teams took heavy blows Thursday. While the Nuggets will await news on Gallinari's knee, the Mavericks now find themselves three games out of the playoffs with only seven games left in their season.
