The balanced Spurs are big favorites over the upstart Warriors in the Western Conference semifinals.

After pulling off a first-round upset of the Denver Nuggets, the Golden State Warriors will try for an even bigger stunner when they take on the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Semifinals.

The Spurs are heavy favorites after a dominant four-game sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round. San Antonio is favored with -1000 odds according to, while Golden State is listed at +650.

As for Game 1 in San Antonio on Monday night, the Spurs are 8½-point favorites, according to San Antonio opened as an 8-point favorite. The over/under opened at 201 and has not changed.

Home court was very important when the Spurs and Warriors played in the regular season, with the home team winning all four games. San Antonio has lost just six home games on the year, while Golden State has struggled on the road. However, the Warriors were able to steal a win in the first round against the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center, a place where Denver had previously only lost three times this season.
