Really, you could make a GIF of this entire game and it'd be worth watching. Here, though, are the many highlights of Miami's exhilarating overtime victory over the Spurs in Game 6.
The game was close and fast-paced throughout the first quarter, though LeBron James thought the refs missed a few fouls along the way (this would become a theme):
Chris Andersen saw some early minutes, which this kid appreciated:
Duncan's excellence kept an early Miami lead from swelling, then the Spurs went on a crazy first-half-ending run characterized by one bizarre play after the next. Like, Boris Diaw dominated during that stretch:
But Miami came back with a run oddly fraught with undressing. Mike Miller drilled a three wearing one shoe:
And LeBron -- who hadn't been looking to score much -- kinda exploded after getting his headband swiped by Tim Duncan:
Like, he really started to take over:
Miami pulled back ahead down the stretch, but a bold three by Tony Parker tied the game:
Parker went on to build a late San Antonio lead, which looked enough to seal the NBA championship until Ray Allen capitalized on a last-second offensive rebound and did what he does best:
That sent it to overtime. OT came down to one last desperation for the Spurs -- a possession that, like several others in the endgame, Chris Bosh snuffed out with a big defensive play:
Just a brilliant block, and a brilliant conclusion to a brilliant game. Now we're headed to a decisive Game 7 that couldn't possibly match Tuesday night's brilliance ... right?
We'll find out Thursday.
