The young Celtics are currently in a fourth-quarter battle with the Heat, and they're staying on Miami's heels while playing without the services of Avery Bradley. Boston's starting shooting guard sprained his ankle in the second quarter of the game and hasn't returned.
Interestingly enough, the Celtics were trailing 31-17 when Bradley went down just a little more than a minute into the second quarter. Yet somehow they've managed to keep this thing competitive without arguably their best perimeter defender. Bradley had just three points in his 7:23 of game action.
Boston just executed a trade that shipped two of its shooting guards to Golden State, so Brad Stevens doesn't have a ton of guards at his disposal while Bradley is out. In fact, not too long after the injury occurred, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reported enforcements were already being summoned.
With injury to Avery Bradley, Boston will sign Vander Blue of Delaware in D-League to 10 day contract, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Fellow 10-day contract signee Chris Johnson may be making a name for himself today. With only a few minutes left in the game, Johnson has 13 points and is giving Miami all it can handle.
