The former Sixth Man of the Year will continue his career in Spain.

Lamar Odom's NBA career has been put on hold, but the veteran forward is reportedly ready to continue playing overseas. Odom has a deal in principle to play for Spanish League team Laboral Kutxa Vitoria for the remainder of the season, according to multiple reports.

Odom's last few years have been filled with turmoil since a trade that sent the versatile forward from the Lakers to the Mavericks following the 2011 season. Most recently, basketball has been a secondary concern for Odom. There have been reports of Odom dealing with a severe drug problem that included a lengthy stint in rehab. Odom was also arrested on a DUI charge in August.

The Clippers showed interest in the now 34-year-old earlier in the season, but the two sides never came to an agreement. Odom played for the Clippers a year ago, appearing in all 82 games and averaging four points across 19.7 minutes per night.
