The Portland Trail Blazers won the second half of their Game 1 matchup against the San Antonio Spurs by two points. That was about the only positive to take from the second round series opener on Tuesday, because the first half was all about the Spurs' domination.

Tony Parker rolls into Game 2 on Thursday coming off two consecutive games of more than 30 points. He worked his way around, past and through Portland in Game 1 as San Antonio also blew up the Blazers' pick-and-roll game between Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge in the first half -- Portland shot 38 percent for the game. The result was a 116-92 loss for Portland, but it did give Terry Stotts' team a whole half to adjust and learn about the Spurs' strategy.
While Aldridge scored 32 points in Game 1 and Lillard settled down as the game wore on, the Blazers will need to find answers defensively, and they'll need to iron out the rotation considering San Antonio had three bench players score in double figures. That could be hard for a squad so reliant on the starting unit playing together, but Portland at least needs that unit to be a positive against San Antonio's own starting five.
