The Phoenix Suns are determined to meet with free agent LeBron James and pitch him a plan that includes long-term success and the ability to team him with another star, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
Phoenix, who has the ability to free the most cap space of any NBA team without needing to make trades, believes it could rely on James' business and basketball acumen to first get a meeting and then present a bright future to the free agent. The Suns plan to tell James that they will chase after the free agent of his choice -- this offseason or next -- but they also can sway him with current roster pieces that won 48 games last year.

James would be able to help Phoenix chase after Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh or even Kevin Love if he is a free agent next summer. The Suns also plan to match any offers for restricted free agent guard Eric Bledsoe, who is a friend of James and shares an agent in Rich Paul.
As of now, the Suns know they are one of many teams that would like to acquire James. Houston, Cleveland and of course Miami are all said to be in the running as well. The Suns believe they can sell James on the city, but most importantly, they can sell him on a better long-term plan.
Of course, the key for the Suns will be getting a sit-down with James, who representatives are not ready to set up a long list of meetings with potential suitors.
