Team USA has departed for Spain with its final 12-man roster set, but coach Mike Krzyzewski's team still has one more exhibition game left before it can officially begin work on the 2014 FIBA World Cup. The U.S. will play Slovenia on Tuesday in Spain's Gran Canaria Arena as the last of four exhibition games the team had on the schedule.
The United States enters at 3-0 after victories over Brazil, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. This will be the first game for Coach K's team with the final roster locked in place. It presents a good opportunity for Team USA to get a first look at its new big man rotation, which includes Anthony Davis, Andre Drummond, Mason Plumlee, DeMarcus Cousins and Kenneth Faried.
Slovenia is 2-1 on the exhibition schedule this month, with its only loss coming against Brazil in a four-point game. The team is led by Phoenix Suns star Goran Dragic. The guard finished with 10 points on 5-of-10 shooting in Slovenia's most recent exhibition game, a two-point win over Lithuania. The team also has Dragic's younger brother, Zoran, who plays professional with Unicaja Málaga of the Spanish League.
