And so the series moves back to Cleveland, where the Cavaliers will try to salvage their season after getting blown out in both Games 1 and 2. Nothing has gone right for Cleveland thus far. Kyrie Irving can't hit a shot or guard anyone on the Warriors. Kevin Love might be out for Game 3 due to a concussion. LeBron James has looked mortal.
The Cavaliers are going to need all these trends to reverse if they have any hope of getting back into the series. They'll also need much more from J.R. Smith and Channing Frye, who've combined to hit two three-pointers in the series' first two games.
The scary part for Cleveland is that they're down 2-0 and neither Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson have had a 20-point game yet. It's unlikely that remains the case going forward. The Cavaliers have yet to figure out how to slow down Golden State; imagine how difficult it will be for them once Curry and Thompson get going.
