The Cleveland Cavaliers have done an incredible job limiting Stephen Curry over the past matchups. That ended on Monday. In the first half as the Warriors were blowing the Cavaliers out in Oakland, Curry was right smack in the middle of it — dropping 14 points and 10 assists in the opening 24 minutes.
He straight up stripped LeBron James and assisted on a Klay Thompson on the other end.
In one play symbolic of his first half, he passed up an open three to hit Kevin Durant perfectly for an easy dunk. LeBron James had an impossible choice between the two, and Curry made the right read.
He was the biggest reason why the Warriors notched a season high in assists — with only seven shots coming unassisted.
The Warriors matched a season-high for assists in a half, dishing out 26 helpers on 33 made field goals in the first half.

And then, on the final play of the half, Curry nailed a buzzer beater. Of course.
Reminder: Curry is reeeeeeally good. You can limit him, and you can suppress him at times. The Cavaliers are learning you can’t stop him forever, though.
