Whether the Nuggets finish with 56 or 57 wins doesn't matter ... the 2012-13 regular season is arguably the best ever in the Nuggets NBA franchise history.
A huge number of missed layups, free throws and normally made attempts nearly felled the Nuggets in Milwaukee. Yet in a promising sign heading into the playoffs, Ty Lawson hits a huge, clutch shot as the Nuggets secure their 56th victory.
Another game, another injury. Kenneth Faried's severely sprained ankle couldn't have happened at a worse time as the Nuggets scrap and claw to maintain their position as the third seed in the West.
The Bucks return home for their final home game of the season in all kinds of hurt, having lost four straight while Larry Sanders and Brandon Jennings continue to battle injuries.
Please forgive me for the horrible pun on the horrible Sammy Hagar song in the title. Nuggets win 118-109 and clinch the NBA franchise best 55th win. Unfortunately they lost the Manimal in the process.
