Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Tim Duncan posted 27 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks in San Antonio's 103-91 win over the Golden State Warriors.

Richard Jefferson added 17 points, while Tony Parker tallied 12 to go with eight rebounds. George Hill came off the bench for 10 points for the Spurs, who won for the fourth time in five games.

"We're going to have a couple of months there with nothing but road games," said Jefferson, talking about San Antonio's eight-game away stretch from February 3-21. "For us, we still have a lot of work to do."

Keith Bogans had 10 of his 13 points in the pivotal third quarter, a period in which Duncan scored 14.

Monta Ellis had 35 points for the Warriors, who have lost four in a row and eight of nine. Corey Maggette finished with 21 points, while C.J. Watson and Anthony Randolph each ended with 11 in defeat. It was Golden State's seventh straight loss to the Spurs.

Vladimir Radmanovic, who missed all eight shots, scored just one point for the Warriors.

"If we stay together things will turn around," said Maggette. "We're down, we're buried right now, but we'll crawl out of it. Right now we're in a bad place, but there's always light."

The Warriors lost despite having head coach Don Nelson back at the helm. He missed the team's five-game road trip while recovering from pneumonia.

Down 49-47 at the half, the Spurs took control by shooting 11-of-16 in the third quarter to just 7-of-23 for the Warriors.

Randolph's jumper moved the Warriors to a 55-54 edge with 8:32 remaining in the period, but the Spurs went on an ensuing 12-2 spurt, capped by a Bogans three-pointer. He had seven points during the flurry.

San Antonio carried a 78-69 lead into the fourth, and although Golden State was within five for a brief moment early in the final stanza, the Spurs quickly widened the lead. A three-pointer by Jefferson and a tip-in from DeJuan Blair moved the margin to 87-75 with 9:13 remaining. The Warriors never got closer than seven the rest of the way.

San Antonio was ahead 27-25 after one quarter and led by as many as nine in the second until the Warriors came storming back and grabbed a two-point edge at the half. They used an 18-4 spurt in the second to move in front.

Golden State went 1-of-10 from three-point range...The Spurs have won 17 of the last 20 meetings...Ellis went 16-of-31 from the field.
