(Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats will resume their six-game Western road trip tonight against the Golden State Warriors at ORACLE Arena.

Charlotte dropped the opener of the trek in Denver before rebounding with Tuesday's 114-109 overtime victory against the Phoenix Suns. Stephen Jackson had 30 points and nine rebounds while Boris Diaw added 24 points and 11 boards for the Bobcats, who halted a three-game slide and improved to 4-17 away from home this season.

"It definitely was a tough game," Diaw said. "We just tried to stay in the game playing good defense. It allowed us to play tight at the end of the game, and we made a good shot to tie the game and go to overtime. It went our way. We needed that and we'd lost three games in a row, so we needed a win."

Gerald Wallace had 21 points and Raymond Felton added 17 in the win.

The Bobcats, who have won 10 of their last 14 games, will also visit Sacramento, Portland and the Los Angeles Lakers on the road swing.

Meanwhile, the Warriors hope to put the brakes on a three-game slide when they play host to Charlotte this evening. They are coming off Wednesday's 123-110 setback versus the New Orleans Hornets, in which C.J. Watson netted a season- high 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting and Monta Ellis returned from a two-game absence because of an ankle injury to post 19 points, nine assists and six rebounds for Golden State.

Stephen Curry had 15 points and eight assists in a losing effort.

"We had no answer for Chris Paul. The guy is unbelievable," said Warriors head coach Don Nelson, who saw the Hornets' All-Star notch 38 points, nine assists and six rebounds. "I don't know what to say -- he's an incredible player. We lick our wounds, get a little practice tomorrow and get ready to play Charlotte."

Charlotte and Golden State split a pair of meetings last season. The Warriors have won six of their 10 lifetime matchups with the Bobcats.
