The Orlando Magic have come under fire of late due to their lack of a go-to perimeter scorer who can generate offense against the league's stiffest defenses, an implicit indictment of star guard Vince Carter. But Carter indeed showed last season he could produce when called upon, raising questions about the validity of those claims.
