You always hate to see a man lose his job because of a loss to your team, but the end was inevitable for Larry Brown. After three years of coaching the Bobcats, Larry Brown has decided to step down in a "mutual" decision between him and team majority owner Michael Jordan.

Games like this are typically boring to watch for the average fan. The pace is slow and stunted, transition offense is nowhere to be found, and both teams have seemingly impenetrable walls in the paint. But, to the more discering fan, these games are more like a chess match.

Though the Bobcats lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 99-81, the game was as satisfying as any they've played over the past few weeks.

No rest for the weary! After a harrowing experience against the always sharp Phoenix Suns, the Thunder take on the always-pesky Charlotte Bobcats, who handed us a critical loss towards the end of last season on the road, and an irrelevant loss in the pre-season.

The Bobcats will receive a much-needed break after tonight's home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder; they won't play again until after Christmas, on December 27. With almost a week to recuperate from a week and a half of embarrassing losses, here's hoping the return of Gerald Wallace and some tweaks to the formula bring the Cats back to respectability.
