The Streak Comes to an End as the Bulls Shut Down the Nets

The Nets' five-game winning streak came to an end on Thursday at the hands of the only team that had a longer streak than they did. The Bulls have the best defense in the league, and they proved it, holding down the Nets for a 84-73 victory at the Prudential Center. The Nets shot just 35 percent from the field and just 3-for-19 from 3-point range.

James to Start vs. Bulls...But That's Beside The Point (Guard)

Busy day at Nets practice. Damion James was cleared to play following his concussion last weekend in London. Quinton Ross was looking like he'll return soon as well, Larry Krsytkowiak wasn't commenting on rumors that he will be leaving the Nets to return to head coaching at the University of Utah and everyone was talking point guard.

For Hump, Celebrity is Kim's World, NBA Basketball is His

The rumors are rising again, the ones that say Kris Humphries will soon propose to Kim Kardashian. The two joked about it on Twitter. It's not likely to happen soon, but Kim's confidantes swear she is in love and she herself says the Net is the "perfect" fit....even if the two are separated by more than a foot.

Game 66 - Nets vs. Bulls - Thursday, March 17, 7:00

Deron Williams battled an old style point guard, Steve Nash, and although he had better numbers, the Nets lost by one-tenth of a second. He's battled a new style point guard, Rajon Rondo, and rung him up with a dagger three at game's end. Now comes Derrick Rose, the consummate PG who D-Will himself thinks is the MVP.

Degree of Difficulty in Playoff Hunt

Fred Kerber doesn't want to be a party pooper, but he does want you to know just how difficult it will be for the Nets to make the playoffs. It will be very difficult passing four teams to get to the #8 seed...and the Knicks didn't help matters by falling to the Pacers (again) Tuesday night in Indiana. The Pacers hold the #8 seed now.
