The Houston Rockets, still fighting for the final playoff spot in the West, blew out the Nets at the Prudential Center on Tuesday. They used a 14-0 run in the first quarter to take control, led by as many as 26 points, and cruised to a 25-point victory to stay within two games of the Memphis Grizzlies for eighth place.

Deron Williams went through the non-contact part of practice on Monday but won't play Tuesday even though his wrists "feels really good right now". As for Wednesday's nationally televised game vs. the Knicks on Wednesday, he's only "half circling" it for his return to action.
Tough Times Aside, Johnson Thinks Lopez Returns to a "Certain Level"
Avery Johnson, while not happy with Brook Lopez's performance, is optimistic things will change. “We’re used to seeing him at a certain level in a game, and he’ll get back to it next week,” Johnson said.
