We're two games into the Thunder-Mavericks series, and so far, we've experienced two totally different games. So, that got me wondering. On a strictly +/- basis, what lineups are the most (and least) effective for both teams?
The Thunder are up 2-0 in their series with the Mavericks after two home wins, but the victories have been far from convincing. Kevin Durant has shot under 40 percent in each of the first two games, and when Durant struggles the Thunder are vulnerable.
Relief. Tonight's game was a totally different game than the one we saw on Saturday. Rather than relying on some late-game heroics, the Thunder relied on sound basketball strategy and some of the steadiest freethrow shooters in the league.
It seems like Game 1 was a very up and down game, fueled by great individual performances rather than a team strategy. Tonight, both teams will be looking for the guy who can give the team an extra spark.
